Legal Aid
The Legal Aid system exists to provide public funding for certain types of matter for those Clients who may be unable to pay for advice themselves. For a number of years Atter Mackenzie has been franchised by the Legal Services Commission which administers the Legal Aid scheme through the Community Legal Service. Atter Mackenzie has a “Quality Mark” in the areas of Family Law and Crime, but can also provide general advice in relation to other matters.
We are always happy to discuss with a Client whether or not they would be eligible for Legal Aid; the assessment takes a few minutes only. Where eligible we will always alert our Clients to the availability of Legal Aid.
